Words or Monsters
Filtering is being seriously pursued by the TCI ministry and they are implementing the technology bought from the west to block Persian content on the internet. They are afraid of words as it appears. Protesting limitation of our freedom of speech is a joke to them and now here we are with our sites being blocked as easily and as unfairly as possible. There is really no way of objecting what happens to us and it may even result in serious charges!
Of course there are so many ways of counteracting filtering but why should we even have to do this? It has turned into a cat and mouse game between people who want to speak and the state! The mouse knows too many holes to be baffled by the cat's moves and the audience is just mocking the cat for his pathetic attempts.
Today I found out that they now filter pages separately according to their content, I mean the whole domain will not be filtered but special parts of the archive are identified and blocked by God-knows-whos. Earlier when they weren’t so good at this filtering game they used to block the server IP of the page they wanted to filter which ended up blocking allllllllll sites that were on the same host! At least now they have learned how to filter!
